Performing Under a Public Microscope

For the past couple of weeks that's exactly what Ann Curry of the TODAY show has been doing....AND in front of an overly curious nation.  I've never been a big fan of her.....until now.  She has shown a tremendous amount of class in the face of a firestorms of negative comments, speculation, and pot shots at her ability..

According to TMZ, Ann Curry will get her walking papers from the "Today" show this week, and NBC will pay dearly for her exit -- because network sources tell us she's under a contract that guarantees her $10 million a year.

Network sources tell TMZ... the likely scenario is that Ann will become a foreign correspondent for NBC News.
