Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber are the big winners of the Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards this year's main winners Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. The North American singer took five awards while the Canadian secured four awards.

The event also awarded other big names in pop music as Katy Perry, Rihanna and Selena Gomez. The revelations of the year were Carly Rae Jepsen (artist) and One Direction (group).

Scenario rock / pop, Coldplay and Maroon 5 also earned awards. Nicki Minaj was the big name Hip Hop earning two awards.
