Katy Perry talks about the path to fame in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres

The star said the focus of his new film, "Katy Perry: Part of Me"
Katy Perry letras The singer Katy Perry attend the program "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday to comment on the release of their new 3D movie, "Katy Perry: Part of Me" (which premieres in Brazil on August 10), and also her divorce from Russell Brand.
"I thought it was important to show everything that happened [between marriage and divorce]," said the singer of "Wide Awake", referring to the ups and downs of the relationship. "Sometimes people think we're perfect and we know that we are not at all perfect."
"I think it is important to end up with the idea that to achieve a dream, you must be perfect and without fault or live in a fantasy world. So I decided to put everything in the film, the best way. But in general, [the film] is about how I got there and the road that, that may have been tortuous, but it was extremely entertaining for the most part. "
Moreover, the star of "Teenage Dream" also opened up about their difficulties early in his career and was dropped three labels: "There were many 'no's' coming my way and just never accepted it (.. .) in the music industry, many wanted me to be like Kelly Clarkson or Avril Lavigne and how I wanted to be Katy Perry before everything. "
