Year after year I post the same message -- that women earn less than men. We are up to 78 cents on the dollar ... wow. We earn less when we do jobs that are traditionally male, and MEN earn MORE when they do jobs that have traditionally been thought of as female jobs. Are my readers as tired of reading this as I am of writing it?Men. It's time for you to WAKE UP!! Pay equity isn't about taking anything away from you. Quite the contrary, it's about bring more money into YOUR HOUSEHOLD. When your wife or parnter earns less than she should, YOU SUFFER.
When are the men in this country going to figure this out?
It's time to DEMAND change. Take a moment and contact your Senators to DEMAND they pass the Paycheck Fairness Act.
