Jessie J is being sued for copyright infringement by a singer and songwriter.
According to Billboard, Will Loomis says the track "Bright Red Chords", his band Loomis & the Lust, was used without consent by the singer in the hit "Domino."
"Mr. Loomis has never consented to the use of his song," his lawyer said in a statement.
"We're hoping to get an appropriate use of the court for this clear violation."
The case is filed against Jessie J and record labels Universal, Lava Records and Universal Republic.
In April, Loomis published a video showing the alleged similarities between the two tracks.
Currently, the British works following the album "Who You Are", released in 2011. Recently, the star revealed he hopes to record duets with Beyonce, Rihanna and Ed Sheeran.
