Joe Lieberman just said that he got into politics to "unite not divide" ... who does THAT sound like?Come on Joe ... DO THE RIGHT THING and SUPPORT the candidate who WON the primary. The Republicans who have come out to support you in these final hours are NOT going to be there for you in November.
And PLEASE ... please stop trying to paint yourself as a progressive. You haven't been progressive for a very long time.
You just announced that you intend to run as an independent. If you do run as an independent you WILL hand over your seat in the U.S. Senate to the Republicans. How is THAT going to help the people in Connecticut ... or this country?
The Republicans have made a mess of things ... from the war, the economy, failures to help the hurricane survivors, and a national debt that is higher than all the other presidents combined.
