Bush Orders Staff to Attend Ethics Briefings
Reuters reports: "White House officials will be required to attend briefings next week on ethics and the handling of classified information after the indictment last week of a senior official in the CIA leak probe, according to a memo released on Saturday."
Does this include the President and Vice President, since it seems pretty clear the decision to out Valerie Plame came from the top?
A memo from Bush outlining the briefings was released in Mar del Plata, where the president was attending a 34-nation Summit of the Americas. The 'refresher course on ethics' will be conducted by White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card and White House counsel Harriet Miers.
