The Music and Entertainment Report Remembers Johnathan Frid

Or FANGS FOR THE MEMORIES (Sorry)

Actor Johnathan Frid known world wide for playing Barnabas Collins in the sometimes campy but very dark soap opera Dark Shadows has passed away.

After one 1990's remake and a new film scheduled to star Johnny Depp, there truly will always be only one Barnabes.

The soap opera was hard to follow, often poorly acted and one could see people running across the set trying to get out of shots.

With all of that, Dark Shadows was a memorable classic piece of gothic fiction from the moment the eerie music first came on and the Tv showes you a night time scene of waves crashing on the shore.

Like it not...whether you believe in curses or not.
Johnathan Frid as Barnabas Collins will live on to infect new generations with his style of vampirism.

Scene where Barnabas is first cursed by the witch Angelique.
